OK. Friendly service, food came relatively quickly and wasn't bad at all. But not outstanding either. All in all good average. I found the ambience (especially the "lighting concept") rather uncomfortable.

We have finally found a location at Strandcafe Lychen that meets our culinary demands. No frills, simple, tasty, worth the price. The menu is not extensive. You cook what you are good at. And that's probably the better option. Always well attended at lunchtime. Word gets around. The staff are very polite and take care of the guests. Unfortunately, you don't find it that often anymore. Clear recommendation.

The view of the water is great, the service is also very nice! unfortunately, those were the only positive things I can report. The food was a disaster for the price. We had the crispy schnitzel with fried potatoes and Norwegian salmon fillet with tagliatelle and dill sauce twice. The schnitzel was frozen, we had the oil taste of the deep fryer on the tongue for a while. The potatoes were mushy, all for almost 15 euros. My 12 year old daughter can do that better. The salmon was well fried, unfortunately completely unseasoned, but it's no magic, salt, pepper, garlic, a little tarragon, dill, thyme ... and everything would be fine. The dill sauce was also unfortunately cold .. oh the fun cost 18.90 euros. All in all with drinks over 60 euros paid. That's really cheeky! We clearly have to advise you to walk past this place.

Closed on a recent Friday evening... Several other groups seemed as surprised as we were.

Price-performance ratio is currently not correct. In principle, the large drinks are brought, although the small ones have been ordered. Most guests will probably pay for it. It was kind of nicer last year ...

Relatively expensive, the service was mediocre. Although we were there after the big lunch rush, it took a long time until the order was placed and the food arrived. Coffee and cake were also average. The cake tasted like nothing, just looked nice. Nothing special (old smell like 40 years ago) for high prices. When you go to the toilet, broken mirrors and tiles leave an unkempt impression. It's a shame, because the location with a view of the lake has potential. At the entrance there is surface disinfectant with which people should disinfect their hands. But that's not made for it. I recommend moving to the Kunstpause café, for example.

Very good strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries and cream. The waitress was nice. Only the pricing is somewhat questionable.

So I think the store has increased massively. Food very good, service very good and the location is great.

Great food with a beautiful view. Outdoor seating on the deck just steps from the lake. Traditional German fare in a quiet cozy setting. The schnitzel is delicious and all of the fish is fresh and well prepared.
